New Zealand and Australia 07 - 08Our holiday to NZ and OZ.
Rach and I were in New Zealand for 3 weeks. We spent christmas at my Mum and Dad's in Tauranga, New year at Port Jackson up the end of Coromandel and spent loads of time cruising about the Mount and general area with a road trip to Taupo to see the lakes and some mud.
We had a week in Melbourne staying with my sister Angela, Steve and Liam.
On the way over we stopped in Singapore for 1 night and stayed 2 nights on the way back.

A few photos from our week in Melbourne.
We spent time at Angela, Steve and Liam's house in Ashburton (Melbourne), had a night out down on the Southbank with Leanne, Steve O'Donnell and Kate, and took a day trip down to Queenscliff to see the heads and have dinner with David, Gerry and Jason.
On our last day we did a river cruise and went up the tallest building in Melbourne the Eureka tower.

Munich 08

Here are a few photos from our trip to Munich and southern Bavaria in Germany.
We were there for a short 4 day break at the end of May 2008. we stayed in Munich for the first 2 nights and had a day of sight seeing on bikes supplied by Lennys free bike tours, which was brilliant. All of Munich's central sights were taken in and then some time was spent at the Chineese beer garden, a few steins were had!
Then the following days were in and around Schwangau and Fussen. This was a lovely area with mountains and fairy tale castles (Schloss Neuswanstein). This was also the place that I asked Rachel to marry me, she said yes!
